Protests sparked by the death of a teenager due bullet wounds from a shooting
Enraged citizens set two police cars on fire and pelted stones at the anti-riot police office in eastern Sudan’s Kassala city on Tuesday.
The actions were meant to be a protest against the killing of a teenager by the anti-riot police on Tuesday.
The deceased, 13-year-old Mohammed Idris was killed by bullet wounds to his head, after which his body was taken to the Kassala hospital morgue. Read more…
