Narok university college closed indefinitely over riots

NAROK university college has been closed indefinitely after students rioted. On Wednesday afternoon, second year students went on the rampage destroying furniture and broking window panes at the hostels and administration block. The riot lasted for more than five hours. The students took issue with the management’s decision to send them for a long holiday break, allegedly to pave way for the third year lot that is resuming next week. Read more…
