The Uzbek Interior Ministry is concealing the truth behind the events at Tashkent’s Bek Baraka market, presenting clashes between traders and police as training exercises.

The ministry’s press service said on 16 August that training exercises were held at the Bek Baraka market in Tashkent Region’s Zangiota district and on a highway along it on 16 August. Read more…
