Kenya Medical College closed after students riot

Learning at the Kenya Medical Training College (KMTC) in Kitui campus was disrupted Wednesday when more than 500 students went on rampage.

The students demanded the removal of their principal Mr Justus Kioko accusing him of poor leadership and cruelty.

They further claimed that Kioko was ignoring their constant complaints on the poor quality of food at the college adding that the food was substandard and they were served tea without milk, eggs and margarines. Read more…
