The Israeli military has clashed with youths south of Ramallah in the West Bank, as they protested in support of some 1500 Palestinian men who are on hunger strike in Israeli jails.
Security forces used tear gas and fired rubber bullets to disperse the crowd of around 100 young men.
During the clashes, a photographer from the Reuters news agency was hit by a rubber bullet and treated by medics.
Two of the prisoners, Thaer Halahla and Bilal Diab, have gone without food for more than 60 days. Read more…
