Bahrain mourners attack police after funeral march

Bahraini protesters have attacked a police station in the capital Manama.
Protesters threw petrol bombs at the station after taking part in a funeral march for a man killed in clashes with police last week.
The police station’s wall was set on fire in the attack, and the clashes spilled onto a main highway.
Riot police responded with tear gas and stun grenades.
Interior minister Sheikh Rashed bin Abdullah Al Khalifa backed the police action, saying they had a right to defend themselves. Read more…
