MANILA (Updated 12:15 p.m.) — Television report said one person was killed during a tension at a demolition of makeshift stalls in Parañaque City, Monday morning.
Hundreds of residents fought with court personnel and riot police who tried to knock down illegal makeshift stalls in Silverio compound at Barangay San Isidro on Sucat Avenue.
A television report said about 250 police personnel came to the area to assist the implementation of the court order.

Parañaque (filipino : Lungsod ng Parañaque) est l’une des villes et des municipalités qui forment le Grand Manille aux Philippines. Elle est bordée au nord-ouest par Pasay, au nord-est par Taguig, au sud-ouest par Las Piñas et au sud-est Muntinlupa. La ville comptait 552 660 habitants au recensement de 2007.
