La contestation menée par des opposants chiites au Grand Prix de Formule 1 de Bahreïn a pris une tournure plus violente à la veille des essais devant débuter vendredi dans un contexte de sécurité renforcée.
Des mécaniciens de l’écurie indienne Force India qui regagnaient leur hôtel mercredi soir de retour du circuit ont été pris dans un affrontement. Un cocktail Molotov a explosé devant leur voiture mais aucun des occupants n’a été blessé.
Un porte-parole de Force India a confirmé l’incident. Il a précisé qu’un des membres de l’écurie qui n’était pas impliqué dans l’incident ainsi qu’un sous-traitant avaient décidé de quitter Bahreïn pour cette raison. Lire la suite…
