Enraged residents in Cajamarca, northern Peru, have clashed with police after 31-year-old Juana Beatriz Ponce García was run over by a police vehicle. Other police vehicles were overturned and set on fire by protesters. The region is the location of the proposed Conga copper and gold mine. The project has been on hold since November because of protests
