Police action spurs stampede in Lasbela power protest

Several people were injured while they burst into a stampede as a result of aerial firing by police in a bid to disperse the demonstrators protesting against the crises of power and water in Lasbela area of Karachi.
The riot police partially restored the traffic at Lasbela Chowk after over an hour of worst traffic-jam. The demonstrators hurled stones at the vehicles. Read more…
