TEHRAN (FNA)- People intensified protests against the Manama regime after a 22-year-old man who was filming the firing of tear gas on anti-Formula One protesters was shot and killed by state-supporting militia on Friday.
The death intensified the clashes and calls for the forthcoming grand prix to be axed.
Bahraini police fired tear gas and arrested demonstrators Sunday in two Shiite villages as protests were mounted against the Formula One race to be held in the Persian Gulf kingdom.
Dozens of young protesters gathered in the village of Abu Saiba, west of Manama, and Tubli, south of the capital, according to postings by the Coalition of the Youth of the February 14th Revolution on Facebook. Read more…
