Mob clashes with police, attacks boys accused of eveteasing

Jaipur, Mar 17 (PTI) Irate locals attacked two school boys, who were detained on charge of eve teasing, and clashed with police personnel when they tried to fend them off, leaving three cops injured this evening. Two boys, who allegedly used to tease girls and quarrel with shopkeepers, were nabbed by people and handed over to the police. When the policemen were taking the accused to the police station, a group of youths attacked the boys. As the policemen tried to protect them, the mob pelted stones at the cops and broke windowpanes of a police vehicle, a police official said, adding that three constables received minor injuries in the incident. Police used mild force to disperse the people, he said. The accused boys, who are said to be school students, are being questioned.
