Des manifestations ont eu lieu dans plusieurs villes d’Afghanistan vendredi 24 févriercontre la profanation d’exemplaires du Coran attribuée à des soldats américains.
Les forces de l’ordre empêchent les marcheurs d’atteindre le palais présidentiel à Kaboul. A Herat, dans l’ouest du pays, des photos du président américain, Barack Obama, sont brûlées dans des affrontements violents avec la police.
