Obrakyere students run riot; school closed down

The Obrakyere Senior High School in Kasoa was on Tuesday closed down temporarily following a series of demonstrations by students demanding the removal of the headmistress, Rev. Mrs. Helena Araba Grahl.

Angry students destroyed the headmistress’ car and vandalised the official bungalow among other valuables to register their claim.

According to the students, Mrs Grahl is incompetent and has mismanaged the school since she took over. Read more…
