Clashes break out in Nabi Saleh village

Ramallah, Feb. 6 (Petra) — Violent clashes erupted early Monday between Palestinian residents of Nabi Saleh village north of Ramallah and Israeli occupation troops.

The Israeli soldiers broke into the village, raided a number of houses and arrested two Palestinians.

Scores of villagers confronted the Israeli troops and military vehicles with stones forcing them to withdraw from the village after they opened fire, sound bombs and tear gas.

Tension is still prevailing in the village of Nabi Saleh, where dozens of military vehicles are still patrolling the village, blocking its main entrance. Read more…
