Chaos erupts after Gazipur road crash

Gazipur, Jan 19 (bdnews24.com) — Angry garment workers on Thursday blocked the Dhaka-Mymensingh highway in the district’s Barabari area for over two hours after a fellow worker was killed in a road accident.

The workers and local people also vandalised several vehicles and torched two buses after a Dhaka-bound bus crushed 20-year-old ‘Sheuli’ to death around 7:45am, Naojor Highway Police Camp sub-inspector Iqbal Hossain told bdnews24.com. Read more …
