Houses burnt in clashes between Kyrgyz and Tadjik in Batken province, Kyrgyzstan

Houses were burnt during clashes happened the previous day between Kyrgyz and Tadjik in Lyailyak, Batken province of Kyrgyzstan. The incident occurred afternoon yesterday. Both sides blamed each other for “seizure of alien lands”. The regional public administration confirms this information and told 24.kg news agency that the Governor Arzybek Burkanov is in the thick of events and he “managed to convince people to break up”.
