10 injured in clash among street urchins in Lagos

Ten people were between Tuesday evening and Wednesday critically injured in a renewed violent clash between factions of social hoodlums, popularly known as area boys in Mushin area of Lagos State

Fifteen vehicles were vandalised and and about 40 shops looted as the hoodlums made lives miserable for residents of Mushin, particularly the Railway Line area in Fadeyi .

The Lagos residents have, however, blamed the police in the state of complicity in the constant clashes in Mushin, as a result of the lukewarm attitude of the police, whenever the hoodlums started their clash . Read more…
