5 BCL men hurt in clashes with cops

Brahmanbaria, Nov 14 (bdnews24.com) — At least five supporters of a former leader of Bangladesh Chhatra League’s (BCL) local unit have been injured by rubber bullets fired by police during clashes.

Supporters of Mahmudul Haque Bhuyian, former president of BCL’s Brahmanbaria unit, demonstrated after he was detained on Sunday night.

Some youths hurled a bomb in front of the Municipality Supermarket after protests resumed in the morning on Monday. No casualty, however, was reported. Read more…
