Occupy Denver is being evicted at this hour.

10:00 PM MST: Occupy Denver tweets: The march that left CCP after the raid was standing in another park, and suddenly SWAT stormed from the shadows firing away!

9:42 PM MST: Occupy Denver website reports: Protesters have been walking around to different locations. The group was split and more arrests were made. At every turn, the police stalk them with several cruisers and SUVs. It seems the police are vigilant in trying to break off small groups. Considering their warning, they seem very interested in squashing Occupy once and for all.

9:00 PM MST: Occupy Denver tweets: We have been cleared out of all parks we tried to stay at. One group was kettled, shot, sprayed, with half of them arrested.

7:10 PM MST: Some occupiers have been arrested. The rest have been forced off the park. They appear to marching to the police station in solidarity with those arrested.

7:00 PM MST: There are reports that at least three tear gas canisters have been fired into the crowd and rubber bullets have been used.

The small gathering of protesters is completely dwarfed by the huge influx of police – according to Occupy Denver, it’s “More than 200 riot police for 3 tents”. Most of the Occupation had taken advantage of police warnings to pack up and get their stuff out; only a small handful remained.
