Clashes erupted between groups of youth and government forces in south Kashmir’s Anantnag (Islamabad) town, soon after Eid congregational prayers got over, on Monday, eyewitnesses said.

They said clashes erupted in the Janglat Mandi area after groups of youth tried to march through the streets of the area, raising pro-freedom slogans.

The youth clashed with a contingent of police and Central Reserve Police Force troopers. Read more…
