Rioting PA Arabs attacked IDF soldiers patrolling the area Sunday afternoon near the Judean village of El Aroub.

Rioting Palestinian Authority (PA) Arabs attacked IDF soldiers on patrol Sunday afternoon next to the Judean village of El Aroub.
Some 30 Arabs who were involved in the melee hurled rocks at the soldiers. IDF troops responded with riot control measures.
Earlier in the day, PA Arabsambushed Israeli motorists with a number of rock and firebomb attacks along the northern section of Highway 60, in the Samaria region. Read more...

al-Arroub (Arabic: مخيّم العروب) is a Palestinian refugee camp located in the southern West Bank along the Hebron-Jerusalem road in the Hebron Governorate. It is fifteen kilometers south of Bethlehem. The camp’s total land area is 350 dunums and according to the UNRWA, in 2005, it had a population of 9,859 registered refugees. However, according to the Palestinian Central Bureau of Statistics (PCBS), the camp’s population was 7,941 in 2007. In 2002, two schools were built in the camp, one for boys and the other for girls.
