ATHENES, 15 décembre (Reuters) – Deux cents manifestants s’en sont pris mercredi à Athènes à l’ancien ministre conservateur des Transports, Kostis Hatzidakis, alors qu’il quittait le Parlement grec, ont rapporté des témoins.
En marge de la journée de grève générale contre l’austérité, les manifestants ont pourchassé l’ancien ministre en criant « Voleurs ! Honte à vous ! ». Ils lui ont lancé des pierres et l’ont frappé à coups de bâton.

ATHENS, Greece — Hundreds of protesters clashed with riot police in central Athens, smashing cars and hurling gasoline bombs during a massive labor protest against the government’s austerity measures.
Police fired tear gas and flash grenades as the violence escalated outside parliament.
The clashes broke out as some 20,000 protesters marched to parliament during a general strike against new labor reforms in crisis-hit Greece.

Athens – Angry protesters set the Finance Ministry on fire after some 20,000 strikers marched through central Athens Wednesday and a national strike against austerity measures closed down services, hospitals and schools.
Angry demonstrators throwing rocks, bottles and fire bombs clashed with riot police who retaliated with tear gas in front of parliament.
Thick smoke engulfed the area immediately around the Finance Ministry located in Syntagma Square. It appeared that protesters had hurled a fire bomb into the second floor of the building.
The 24-hour nationwide strike in Greece on Wednesday saw all schools, hospitals and public sector services shut down in protest after the socialist-led parliament passed a new round of austerity reforms. More…
