AMMONNEWS – Amal Ghabayen – A number of relatives of injured fans admitted into Al Bashir Hospital attempted to attack Minister of Health Mahmoud Al Sheyyab, who arrived at the hospital to check up on the injured fans following the riots and violence that erupted following the match between Al Faisali and Al Wehdat Friday evening.

Crowds gathering outside the hospital attacked and vandalized the glass windows of the Surgery Wing of Al Bashir state-run hospital. More…

AMMONNEWS – Over 250 fans were injured in riots that erupted following a football match between Al Wehdat and Al Faisali teams Friday evening.

Gendarmerie forces intervened to break out the riots that erupted at King Abdullah Stadium in Quweismeh, southern Amman.

A stampede of fans attempting to exit the stadium following the game led to the collapse of a metal fence separating fans from the playing field. More…
