Burdwan (WB), Dec 1 (PTI) Two persons, claimed to be Trinamool Congress supporters, were killed in police firing and 32 others, including policemen, were injured in clashes at a village in Burdwan district today.

The police resorted to firing after being attacked with bombs and stones in Jotsadi village, under Raina police station, Superintendent of Police R Rajsekharan said. Hasmat Mullik (35) and Kajol Molla (30) were taken to Burdwan Medical College Hospital where they were declared brought dead, hospital sources said. more…
