A STUDENT needed hospital treatment after becoming embroiled in the tuition fees riot in London.
Beth Deacon, 16, of Billericay, was one of nine people injured when the 25,000-strong protest descended on Downing Street on Wednesday.
The teenager, who had been protesting peacefully with friends, was hit across the back of the head by a glass bottle. She was taken by ambulance to St Thomas’ Hospital for treatment. More…
