Police in Honiara have arrested 37 people after rioting broke out when a controversial Solomon Islands minister was sentenced to jail.

Police used tear gas to disperse 200 rioters and looters who threw rocks and protested the jailing of Solomon Islands Fisheries Minister Jimmy Lusibaea. More…
