Srinagar: Curfew was imposed in Singhpora area of Pattan in Baramulla district after violent clashes broke out against the arrest of two senior Hurriyat Conference leaders early this morning.

Eyewitnesses told Kashmir Dispatch that clashes broke out in Singhpora area of Pattan on the Srinagar-Muzaffarabad highway when police arrested senior Hurriyat Conference (M) leaders, Shabir Ahmad Shah and Nayeem Ahmad Khan this morning. The Hurriyat leaders were on their way to meet people in twin towns of Sopore and Baramulla when police arrested them near Singhpora. More…
