Srinagar—Several Kashmiris were injured as violent clashes erupted between protesting youth and police in South Kashmir town against police’s nocturnal raids and arrests of youth.

Amid the shutter down a large number of Kashmiri people came out on the streets in Lal Chowk and other areas of the old town and chanted pro freedom slogans.

Several Kashmiris were rounded up by the police during last few days allegedly on charges of torching a police vehicle at Janglat Mandi on Eid. MORE …
