Protests, Clashes Break Out Near Pampore, Many Injured

Srinagar, Sep 27: Government forces opened fire to quell protesters on the national highway near Samboora in Pampore Monday morning, reports reaching here said.

According to these reports, hundreds of people in Samboora staged pro-freedom demonstration and bloacked all roads and link roads leading to Pulwama.
They also hampered the movement of Army vehicles moving on the Srinagar-Jammu highway, reports said.
Forces according to reports opened fire to break the protests and clear the highway.
Many people have been reported injured. Details were awaited.
