Riots in Karachi: 2 injured, 5 vehicles Torched

KARACHI: At least five vehicles were set on fire while two people were injured in the riots that erupted in the metropolis following a clash between two groups at Sohrab Goth area.
According to the channel, two ethnic groups exchanged fire at Sohrab Goth that created panic and rampage in the area. Hundreds of vehicles are already being stuck there due to blockade of Toll plaza by law enforcers to prevent Lawyers’ Long March from heading towards Hyderabad.

A group also torched five vehicles, including four trucks and a dumper, at Abul Hassan Isphahani road after the clash.
Riots erupted at various areas of the metropolis, including Sohrab Goth, Sachal Goth and Abul Hassan Isphahani Road soon after the clash in which at least two people injured.
Severe aerial firing created panic and unrest among the residents of these areas, where the shops have also been closed, says the channel.
In Sachal Goth, enraged crowd came on road and hurled stones on vehicles causing the suspension of the traffic and severe traffic jam in adjacent areas.
