Seven Palestinians were injured on Friday during clashes with the Israeli soldiers following protests against the separation wall that Israel builds in the West Bank, medical sources and witnesses said.

The medical sources said seven Palestinians were injured during protests against the wall and the construction of settlement. The protestors clashed with the Israeli soldiers in the village of al- Nabi Salleh, west of Ramallah.

Every week, the Palestinians, backed by Israeli peace activists and members of international solidarity movements, organize weekly protests and demonstrations against the separation wall and settlements.

The soldiers fired rubber bullets and tear gas canisters at the demonstrators, which took place in several villages in the West Bank on Friday, mainly near Ramallah and Bethlehem, according to witnesses.

The demonstrators waved Palestinian flags and chanted slogans against Israel. They also held banners calling on Israel to stop settlement and enable farmers to harvest their olives, said the witnesses.
